The new eW Cove MX Powercore cove lighting system from Philips.Color Kinetics produces the light output and general wide distribution of conventional fluorescent strip systems using T5 lamps. To make it even more interesting, this new system is auto-switching (can be connected to 100, 120, 220, 240 or 277volts), and fully dimmable to 1% using quality 2 or 3 wire dimming controls.
This is what the specification community has been asking for, in that it eliminates the entire power-supply issue, and installs in the same fashion as a regular fluorescent strip.
