Designed by New York–based design studio Allied Maker, the 20"-square-by-52"-long chandelier brings together seamlessly joined woodblocks and 21 blown-glass globes using Japanese joinery techniques. Certolux recently introduced three series of sealed luminaires suitable for health care projects, surgical suites, patient rooms, and behavioral health facilities. CSL’s proprietary Silent Vu optic technology produces glare-free light up to 1,063 lm, which is suitable for general, task, or accent lighting with a footprint smaller than a dime. The adjustable Whisper Flex, with a ¾" aperture, can tilt from zero to 30° and pan 360° while allowing for installation and service from below the ceiling.
